Bethesda offers you the name of our preferred provider for real estate to help you determine the best way to sell your home, and she can explain the best options to you. Regardless of whether you use her services or not, Bethesda will financially provide for the “Moving with Ease” services to assist in downsizing your “stuff” and then packing and moving your “treasures” to Village North.
We know it seems challenging and intimidating, but we have put the perfect team in place to make your move to Village North as seamless as possible.
Bethesda is a strong advocate for allowing residents to age in place, with the understanding safety is our first priority. We have extensive home and community based services to offer our residents. In addition, we offer you the services of one of our professional geriatric care managers or coordinators to coordinate with you and or family members the services you may require. However, if a resident requires more extensive in-patient care, short term rehabilitation or long term care, Village North residents have priority access to our skilled nursing communities.
There is a one-time Security Deposit, equal to one month fee, which is paid at thetime of move-in and refundable upon leaving the community. For all of the services and amenities included, there is a very reasonable monthly fee based on the floor plan you choose. Keep in mind that, in addition to all of the services and amenities, you are no longer paying homeowner’s insurance or real estate taxes.
Absolutely, and they are welcome to join you for a meal for a small charge (or if you have not used all of your meals for the month, you may be credited for the guest meal). If you are expecting more than four people in your party, we ask that you make reservations with dining services.
We encourage you to have guests visit for a reasonable time frame. They may stay with you in your apartment or you may reserve one of our guest apartments (for a fee). The guest apartments are available in a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community. You will be required to pay a one-time, non-refundable pet deposit, and sign the pet agreement stipulating that you will care for your pet.

A Management Agreement has been formed between two of the St. Louis premier providers for Senior Living and Health Care. Bethesda Health Group and BJC HealthCare co-own Village North Inc., and Bethesda manages the community.
Bethesda is a not-For-profit, non-denominational organization that has been serving seniors for 130 years. The organization was founded in 1889, and annually serves more than 10,000 seniors and their families in the St. Louis area. Bethesda owns or manages five communities that provide skilled nursing care, and has one Assisted Living Community. Bethesda owns or manages six 6 Independent Retirement Living Communities, which now includes co-ownership and management of Village North.
BJC HealthCare is one of the largest nonprofit health care organizations in the U.S., delivering services to residents primarily in the greater St. Louis, southern Illinois and mid-Missouri regions.
