  • After living at the Oaks for five years now, I’m happy to say that there is no place I would rather be. I love my warm colonial-style home, and the landscaping and grounds are always beautiful. Also, all the services offered by the Oaks have relieved me of the burden of the housekeeping, lawn work, and maintenance of my home. Furthermore, I have the peace of mind of knowing that I am taken care of moving into the future whatever the case may be. I also enjoy the company of the other residents at the Oaks. We have a group of ladies called “in stiches” that get together in the club house for stitching, knitting, and sewing. While I don’t do any of those things personally, I love socializing with my friends. The different outings and trips around St. Louis are always a lot of fun, and I still have the independence to come and go as I please – I am a very busy lady! Overall, I enjoy living at the Oaks and I can truly call it my “home.”

  • When my husband and I started exploring our options for Independent Senior Living we were interested in finding a location that was central to the things that were most important us. Bethesda Oaks was the ideal choice being near the cities of Webster Groves, Kirkwood, and Glendale. Remaining in close proximity to our church was the best part of the Oaks location, but we also enjoy being right around the corner from plenty of shopping and easy access to several major highways.

The patio homes at the Oaks offer a very comfortable, roomy living space with a highly desirable floor plan. I always hear people say that there is no way they will be able to downsize enough to fit everything into an independent living setting, however, the spacious layout at the Oaks allowed me to bring much more than I ever thought possible. Also, with all the entrances and laundry facilities located on one floor I don’t have to worry about using stairs. Additionally, the homes have nice wide doorways and several options for customization to suit your needs. To compliment the lovely interior the landscaping and grounds are beautiful and professionally cared for.

Bethesda Oaks gives me the opportunity of being as social as I want to be. The neighbors are very friendly and enjoy each others company. Several of us share mutual friends from the surrounding cities of Webster Groves, Brentwood, and Kirkwood etc.
