Bethesda is pleased to provide a variety of living options for the older adult in varying stages of vibrancy and health needs.
Independent Retirement Living
Ideal for vibrant seniors looking to continue their active, comfortable lifestyles without engaging in housekeeping, lawn care and home maintenance. Restaurant-style dining, planned outings, and a full calendar of activities experienced with like-minded, friendly residents provide the desired lifestyle.
Ideal for seniors who are able to practically live on their own – they may just need a little bit of assistance with some of their daily activities. Bethesda offers Assisted Living apartments in South County on the Charless Village campus (near Bethesda Southgate), and at Bethesda Hawthorne Place, an Assisted Living community located at the intersection of Big Bend and Berry roads (adjacent to the Bethesda Dilworth campus). Bethesda Hawthorne Place also has apartments appropriate for Memory Care, to accommodate the needs of those residents who are living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
Skilled Nursing and Memory Care
Bethesda’s Skilled Nursing and Memory Care communities feature friendly, safe, secure “neighborhoods” with dedicated staff committed to providing exemplary care and services to residents and their families. Our short-stay, post-hospitalization Rehab & Therapy Centers are committed to helping seniors regain strength and mobility, so they can continue to enjoy life wherever they call home. In addition, many of our Skilled Nursing communities have safe, secure neighborhoods specifically for seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.
Our Care Management professionals can perform assessments to determine which of these communities is appropriate for your loved one. Please contact them (314-963-2200) for more information or to arrange for an assessment.
