Going Once, Going Twice?
Friday 29th of April 2011Terry Beye telling the audience fascinating stories about treasures sold by Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers over the years.
On March 8, friends and residents of Bethesda enjoyed a lovely reception and private viewing of fine art and jewelry, antique furniture, silver, ivory, bronze sculpture and Persian carpets at St. Louis’ premier auction house, Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers.
Terry Beye, Vice President and Senior Appraiser at Ivey-Selkirk, engaged the more than 60 in attendance in a fun evening of learning the “auction business.”
Guests were invited back to the gallery for the “real” auction later in the month. The evening was sponsored by the Bethesda Health Group Foundation.
