BHG Foundation–Donor-Centered and Mission-Driven

Our Mission at the Bethesda Health Group Foundation (BHG) is to support Bethesda's senior adult services by nurturing a philanthropic environment that fosters generosity, volunteer involvement, donor relations and stewardship.

  • Hearts for Our Homes

Bethesda kicks off its fundraising campaign, Hearts for Our Homes, for two weeks in the spring each year. Employees, residents and volunteers engage in fun-filled activities throughout the campaign to raise money and personally pledge their contributions so residents will always have a home at Bethesda. This campaign has grown each year; last year more than $100,000 was raised during  Hearts for Our Homes campaign.

  • Car Show Raises Money for Seniors

32 cars turned out for the Charless Village Car Show in May benefiting Hearts for Our Homes fundraising campaign, which helps Bethesda seniors in need of financial assistance.

  • Kiss The Cow Fundraiser Raises Big Money

Marcella Kuhn, senior wellness partner with Senior Support Solutions, had to kiss a real cow after raising the most money for “Kiss The Cow” – a Hearts for Our Homes fundraiser to benefit Bethesda’s Humanitarian Care program.

  • Charless Village Ribbon Ceremony

Bethesda Board  of Directors  and Administrators dedicate Charless Village Assisted Living community.

There are many ways to support the BHG Foundation, each provides a varying degree of financial benefit. These range from offering donors tax advantages to providing them with a lifetime payment stream. Philanthropy is key to the ability of the Foundation to help meet the needs of thousands of older adults who have entrusted us with their care.
