2013 Best Places to Work
For the second consecutive year, Bethesda was chosen by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work in St. Louis! Employees from more than 150 St. Louis businesses completed surveys to make their organizations become eligible for this award, and Bethesda was chosen Ð again!
2012 and 2013 "Spirit of Innovation" Award
Bethesda has been selected as a winner of the LTC & Senior Living LINK Spirit of Innovation awards in both 2012 and 2013! This national achievement recognizes organizations for their innovation, dedication to continuous improvement, development of best practices, and commitment to the success of the long term care industry.
RCGA Green Challenge
Jill Frein, Corporate Project Manager, and Larry Hickman, Senior Vice President, Administrative Services and Chief Information Officer, celebrate the recognition Bethesda received from the St. Louis Regional Chamber for completing the 2012 St. Louis Green Business Challenge.
Bethesda wins LeadingAge Missouri's 2012 Visionary Award for developing a first-of-its-kind data management system for gathering and sharing information for the senior healthcare industry.
- Bethesda has been named as one of the "Best Places to Work in St. Louis!" Employees from organizations located throughout the St. Louis area completed surveys, and based on the survey responses, Bethesda was deemed to be one of the best of the best!
Sales Counselors Kelly Maier (Bethesda Orchard), Marie Bartels (Bethesda Terrace), Sherry Ehrler (sitting, Bethesda Barclay House), and Mitch Beuke (Bethesda Gardens and The Oaks at Bethesda) pose with the 2012 Top 50 Business award. This is the fifth year in a row, and the sixth time in the last seven years that the RCGA has selected Bethesda to be among the top 50 businesses in Greater St. Louis.
Charless Village was a 2011 Construction Finalist for a Keystone Award from the Associated General Contractors of America.
St. Andrews & Bethesda Home Health was selected in 2011 as one of the top 500 Home Health Agencies in the nation by the esteemed OCS HomeCare for the 2nd time in two years, and the only not-for-profit home health agency serving seniors in St. Louis and St. Louis County.
South County Chamber of Commerce honors Charless Village Campus with their 2011 "New Construction" award.
2013 Norwood Awards
Congratulations to Juanita Hinshaw, a former Bethesda Board Chairman, and Bob Morris, a current volunteer at Bethesda Meadow and Bethesda Hospice Care Ð the recipients of the 2013 Norwood Awards (seen here with Bethesda President & CEO Joe Brinker).
Honoring her more than 40 years of service at Bethesda, LeadingAge, awarded Deborah Stanley as a recipient of their Longest Tenure Award.
Steve Wilk, Director of Corporate Security for Bethesda, is the 2012 recipient of the Carl A. Bender Security Professional of the Year Award, presented by the St. Louis chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). Steve was nominated and selected by his ASIS peers to receive this award.
2012 Norwood Awards
Congratulations to Earle Harbison, Jr., a former Bethesda board member, and Robert Neuenhahn, a current Bethesda Dilworth volunteer Ð the recipients of the 2012 Norwood Award, seen here with Joe Brinker.
Dr. Robert Drews, Bethesda Foundation donor, retired ophthalmologic surgeon and Bethesda Advisory Board member was honored by the St. Louis Society for the Blind and Visually Impaired by having their Low Vision Clinic renamed after Dr. Drews and his father, Leslie in 2011.
Theresia Metz, Volunteer Coordinator at Bethesda Dilworth, won the 2012 Special School District's "Special Ambassador" Award. She is one of only seven recipients to win the organization's highest recognition.
Alicia Sykes, Certified Nurse Assistant at Bethesda Dilworth was named "CNA Caregiver of the Year" at the 2011 Long-Term Ombudsman Luncheon.
Bob Morris, Volunteer at Bethesda Meadow also received a "Caregiver Award" at the Ombudsman program.
